The 4th Coach Tourism Awards were once again a resounding success at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday the 19 May. Shaun Williamson, who played Barry in Eastenders, hosted the evening with a sharp wit and the ‘sold out’ audience loved it.
There were 17 Awards handed out on the night by Coach Monthly Group Editor, Mike Morgan, to the very best suppliers, operators and individuals in the UK coach tourism market. Publishing Director Tony West said: “We’ve had another fantastic evening and our thanks go to everyone involved with the 2009 Coach Tourism Awards. I would like to pay tribute to all the entrants whose submissions were of a higher than ever quality, I would also like to thank all of our sponsors, without whom the evening would simply not be possible.”
Plans will shortly be announced for the 2010 Awards and doubtless the organisers will be under pressure to build on the best ever Coach Tourism Awards from Coach Monthly. They are confident that they can rise to the challenge as Zoe Doyle, Editor of Coach Monthly said: “This is the second Coach Tourism Awards I’ve worked on and it’s been a fantastic process. We’re already discussing our 2010 plans and the team involved are confident that they can make it EVEN better than the 2009 event. We all love a challenge!”
